The Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo welcomes the transaction as it was announced which should benefit the country through employment and increased revenues.

The country’s positive investment climate has made this possible and this further demonstrates the DRC government's commitment to provide a mutually beneficial environment to attract major international corporations. These corporations will bring their expertise and investment to our country, in order to benefit their stakeholders but especially the people of the DRC.
