Discovery Metals has identified a new zone of higher grade copper and silver mineralization at the recently discovered Mango prospect which lies within the 100 percent owned prospecting licences in the Kalahari Copperbelt in North West Botswana.

The company reported further results from the ongoing drill program at Mango, located within the Boseto Zone approximately 30 kilometers south of the concentrator at the Boseto copper project.

The new zone was intersected at the south west extension of the Mango prospect, and Discovery has now confirmed copper and silver mineralization along 20 strike kilometers of the 36 kilometer prospective horizon at Mango.

Significant intercepts from 11 drill holes include MGDD1387 with 4.4 meters at 3.2% copper and 561 grams per tonne and MGRC1677 with 6 meters at 1.0% copper and 153 gram per tonne silver. The drilling program continues with further results anticipated in the Q1 of 2012.

Mr Brad Sampson MD of Discovery Metals said that "These higher grade intersections at South West Mango further demonstrate the prospectivity of the Kalahari Copperbelt and encourages us that multiple mineralized areas may exist that can contribute to a larger and longer life Boseto copper project.”
