Khaleej Times reported that Dubai Aluminum Company Limited sponsored the recent Dubai Municipality 'Clean Up the World 2009' campaign a project of the 
United Nations 
Environment Program.

During the clean up campaign from October 27th to 30th 2009, Dubal constantly stressed to volunteers not just the importance of preserving precious natural resources but also for corporate to act responsibility towards the environment.

Dubal said that it was doing its bit for the environment by consciously minimizing the quantity and type of harmful emissions and effluent discharges from its Jebel Ali site. In addition, it supports and engages with governmental and non governmental organizations that promote environmental awareness and positive environmental actions within the greater Dubai community.
