El Niño Ventures Inc announced significant diamond drill results of the 2011 drill program on the Murray Brook massive sulfide deposit located in the Bathurst Mining Camp in New Brunswick, Canada. Votorantim Metals Canada Inc is the operator of the program.
The entire 2011 program consisted of 60 vertical drill holes, totalling 10,327.5 meters with the ultimate objective of updating the mineral resources at Murray Brook. Data from the 2011 drilling program has been delivered to P&E Mining Consultants Inc Engineering for an NI43-101 mineral resource update in Q1 2012.

1. On the basis of work completed to date, several important observations and conclusions can be made:
2. The program was successful in confirming the strike and dip of the massive sulfide mineralization and associated stratigraphy at the Murray Brook deposit;
3. Results of the 2011 drilling program have been successful in confirming the nature of the mineralization with the majority of holes returning higher than anticipated metal grades and
4. The deposit remains open to the northwest and there is good potential to add additional resources with continued drilling.
A USD 3.0 million budget has been approved for 2012 to 2013 exploration program that includes USD 2.5 million budgeted for drilling measured resources at the Murray Brook deposit and USD 500,000 exploration program on Murray Brook and Camel Back exploration claims defined by the option agreement with Murray Brook Minerals.
The objective is to search for covered giant VMS deposits that might occur at depths of up to 150 meters. The area is located between the Murray Brook massive sulfide deposit, which with historic resources at 25 million tonnes, was the 5th largest in the Bathurst Mining Camp and the nearby Caribou deposit with total historic resources estimated at 65 million tonnes which is considered to be the 2nd largest in the BMC.
