Elementos has intersected further high grade copper mineralization of up to 3.74% from vein samples and 2.49% over 4 meters from channel sampling at its Tamaya Project in central Chile.

The company received the results from 57 new samples which also showed larger zones of lower grade copper mineralization including 22 meters at 0.54% had been intersected.

These results continue to show the potential for large volumes of moderate to low grade mineralization supplemented by high grade mineralization within the structures.

The new sample results are from the Campanil and Almagro prospects, as well as the old Dichosa and San Jose mine workings. Campanil returned best intersections of 17.5 meters at 0.41% copper, including 4.8 meters at 0.8% copper; 3.9 meters at 2.16% copper and 2.9 meters at 1.02% copper.

Almagro delivered best results of 4.1 meters at 2.49% copper and 6 meters at 0.72% copper while San Jose returned 10 meters at 0.71% copper including 6 meters at 1.15% copper.

Meanwhile, Dichosa unearthed 1 meter at 3.74% copper and 0.39 grams per tonne gold and 0.8 meters at 1.67% copper and 0.49 gram per tonne gold from vein samples and 22 meters at 0.54% copper including 8 meters at 1.39% copper from a channel sample.
