Geopulse Exploration Inc announced the acquisition of 640 acre metalliferous mineral lease in the Lisbon Valley of San Juan County, Utah. This Property is located in the proven mineral and copper rich Paradox Basin area. It was strategically purchased for its copper exploration potential.
The Lisbon Valley Property is favorably located only a few miles from one of Utah's largest copper production properties, the Lisbon Valley Copper Mine. At full production, this mine was producing over 27,000 tonnes of copper ore annually.
Utah State is host to some of the Nation's largest copper production facilities. Copper is the largest contributor of nonfuel minerals in Utah, with a value of over USD 1.7 billion and an output of nearly 20 million pounds annually. For more than a century Utah has been one of the world's largest copper producers.
Management's corporate strategy is to be a project explorer, generator and operator with an objective to option and JV projects with major and junior mining companies through to production. The Company will also expand through the exploration of base and precious metal opportunities.
Currently Geopulse Management is completing due-diligence and reviewing several national and international resource projects for future acquisition. Each project offers a different stage or phase of entry. The initial project site objectives will be located in the continental US with future expansion goals aimed for Central or South America.
