It is reported that range legislators want the governor's office to take a more active role in helping to fast track the PolyMet mining project.

According to area lawmakers, a request has been sent to Governor Mr Mark Dayton suggesting creation of a project coordinator position to oversee the process for developing PolyMet, as the company is more than ready to begin copper/nickel/precious metals nonferrous mining.
