
According to data of Japan Aluminum Alloy Refiners Association, they purchased 3,779 tonnes of silicon metal in September up by 16% compared to August because of the terminal of reduction on production in summer.
Besides, Japan’s consumption of silicon metal in September totaled 3,870 tonnes up by 14.5% MoM. It is seen that the consumption is higher than purchase in September thus the stock volume of silicon metal has been down to 2,253 tonnes until September 30th.
Meanwhile, the output of Japan’s aluminum alloy manufacturers totaled 68,672 tonnes increased by 15.4% compared to that in August the shipment volume was 68,858 tonnes rose by 12.8% MoM. The current stock volume of aluminum alloy was 22,000 tonnes up by 1.7% compared to that in August.
