
Jiangxi Copper sees H1 profit up over 50pct
Market Watch reported that Jiangxi Copper Company, China's biggest copper producer by output expects its H1 profit to increase by more than 50% from a year earlier due to higher selling prices and production volumes of coppers.
The company, which produces copper cathode and noble metals, reported a 2010 H1 profit of CNY 2.12 billion under Chinese Accounting Standards. The Hong Kong and Shanghai listed company is based in Guixi city in southern China's Jiangxi province.
