It is reported that Jiangxi Province is planning to consolidate its rare earth industries into a giant group that will possibly be led by a local mining company in Ganzhou.

Jiangxi Province has taken a more focused approach to rare earths since prices shot up this year, giving separating and smelting industries in Jiangxi an output value this year of CNY 14.7 billion by August.

This figure exceeds the total output value of such industries for the whole of last year.
