Kazakh industrial production up in 9 months on copper

Bloomberg reported that Kazakhstan’s industrial production expanded 0.5% in January through September from a year earlier led by growth in copper output.
The state statistics agency said that copper production climbed 8.6% to 270,100 tonnes in the period. Rolled steel output slumped 14% to 2 million tonnes in the period.
