
Kincora Copper Limited announced that Mr John Rickus, a director of the Company has been appointed as president and CEO effective August 1st 2012.
Mr Rickus has a degree in Geology and has over 40 years' experience in the mining industry. He is Head of Technical Services for Origo Partners and the former President of Resolution Copper. His 40+ years of mining experience includes 24 years with Rio Tinto, including 6 years as head of Technical Services and 6 years as a mining executive with the Rio Tinto Copper Group.
He has previously served on the Board of Directors of Palabora Mining, worked on the Somincor Copper Mine in Portugal and the Minera Alumbrera in Argentina. He was a member of the Owners' Council for Minera Escondida in Chile and led the technical input on Rio Tinto's behalf in Freeport's Grasberg mine in Indonesia.
Mr Rickus succeeds Mr Igor Kovarsky as President and CEO who resigned effective July 31st 2012. The board of directors of the Company wishes to thank Mr Kovarsky for his contribution to the Company during his tenure as President, CEO and Director.

Cascadero Copper appoints Mr Peter Barnes to its Advisory Board
Cascadero Copper Corporation announced the appointment of Mr Peter Barnes, CA, as an Advisor to the Company. Peter has over 25 years of senior management experience in the financial and mining industries.
From 2003, until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Silver Wheaton in early 2006, Mr Barnes was the Chief Financial Officer of Wheaton River Minerals and subsequently Goldcorp Inc. During this time, Mr. Barnes was an integral part of a team responsible for transforming Wheaton River and Goldcorp from a junior gold producer to one of the world's leading low cost emerging senior gold producers.
From 2006 until April 2011, Mr Barnes was CEO of Silver Wheaton, a company he cofounded in 2004. Under his leadership, Silver Wheaton, with its unique silver streaming model, provided shareholders with 50% annualized rate of return and became one of the largest silver companies in the world, with a market capitalization of approximately USD 15 billion. Silver Wheaton shares trade under the symbol SLW on the NYSE and TSX.
In 2010, Mr Barnes was honored with the National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year Special Citation Award for Innovative Global Strategies and the 2010 Pacific Region Award for Mining and Metals. He is an active member in the community, and is involved in a number of non-profit organizations including serving as a Board member for the BC Special Olympics. He has also served as a member of the Silver Institute's Board of Directors. he holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Hull, England and in July of 2012 the university endowed him with an honorary degree of Doctor of Science in Economics.
