Bloomberg quoted Mr Fran Rossberg a spokesperson for the Xstrata Zinc unit Xstrata Plc as saying that its McArthur River zinc, lead and silver mine in Australia’s Northern Territory “remains unaffected by flooding caused by” the Ex-tropical Cyclone Grant.

The spokesman said that “Production for the month is continuing as planned.”
