Merrill sees copper averaging USD 7125 per tonne in 2010
Analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch said that they see copper prices averaging USD 7,125 per tonne in 2010 and USD 8,000 per tonne in 2011.
They said that "Although we anticipate positive metal demand growth in 2010 we nevertheless believe any demand increases to emerge only gradually. This raises the risk that global off take may still be weak in the Q1 of 2010.”
