Reuters reported that Mitsubishi Materials Corporation of Japan plans regular maintenance at its Onahama plant in Fukushima prefecture for 20 day period from mid October.

The Onahama plant part owned by Dowa Mining Company and Furukawa Company produced 20,000 tonnes a month or 240,000 tonnes on an annual basis last financial year.

Mitsubishi earlier said that it planned to produce 128,376 tonnes copper in April and September down 21.7% from the same period last year Firms in the sector have not yet announced H2 production plans.
