
Base metals at LME exhibited tendency to recover from the mayhem in previous 2-3 weeks as investors viewed the latest US and Chinese economic data as positive and worries about the euro zone eased a bit.
An analyst with TD Securities said in a note that industrially focused metals should all continue to get a boost from an increase in risk appetite and lower volatility in the near term.
RBC Capital Markets said in a note “Further successes over the coming months would definitely be constructive for metals prices.”
