Mr Abhay Kumar Srivastava has taken over as CMD of National Aluminium Company Limited. He succeeded Mr CR Pradhan.

Mr Srivastava is a mechanical engineer by profession. He completed his B Tech in mechanical engineering and M Tech in industrial engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi.

He has 30 years of working experience in public sector enterprises in various fields of engineering and management. He spent major part of his career of over two decades in National Thermal Power Corporation Limited. He has also worked with Indian Petro Chemicals Corporation Limited a Navratna public sector under the ministry of chemicals and petrochemicals for over 5 years.

Before joining Nalco, he was heading Cement Corporation of India Limited a Government of India undertaking under ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises as its CMD for about 5 years.
