Reuters reported that Indian state run National Aluminum Company Limited has issued a tender to sell 30,000 tonnes of alumina.

The official said that the last date to submit bids is December 2nd 2009.

The source said that the alumina is for shipment in December. He said that NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina at USD 300.5 per tonne at the end of October on an FOB basis.
