Northland Resources SA said that Mr Peder Zetterberg is expected to be the company's acting chief financial officer, or CFO, with effect from January 23rd 2012.

Mr Zetterberg is filling in for Ms Eva Kaijser, the company said as Kaijser is on maternity leave for a twelve month period.

According to Northland Resources's president and CEO Mr Karl Axel Waplan, Mr Zetterberg who was most recently CEO for Brio Group, is seen as joining our team at this important time in the development of our Company and its projects.

Mr Waplan added that "I am confident that his background and experience will ensure a rapid and solid changeover and management of the financial processes while Eva Kaijser is on maternity leave."
