Mr Karl Axel Waplan president and CEO of Northland Resources SA announced the appointment of Ms Eva Kaijser to the position of Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Ms Kaijser has over 10 years of experience working with Boliden AB, a European metals producer. She has been a member of Group management since 2007. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development and before that SVP, Information and Investor Relations. She also has experience as finance and treasury manager and group controller.

Mr Waplan said that Ms Eva has a wide range of financial and market experience that is very valuable to Northland at this time in the Company's development. She has hands on experience with large syndicated loans and equity issues and is familiar with issues particular to mining companies.

Ms Kaisjer succeeds Mr Aurelian Bukatko, who has resigned as CFO and Corporate Secretary. The Northland Board of Directors would like to thank Mr Bukatko for his efforts, in helping grow Northland from an early exploration company to a development company.
