Renaissance Uranium has defined a major gold anomaly at the Cutana Project following multi element soil sampling.

Cutana is located in northeastern South Australia, close to Polymetals Mining and Exco Resources White Dam gold mine which is expected to produce 5.2 million tonnes of ore at a grade of 1.0 grams per tonne gold.

The newly defined anomaly at Cutana is in the Pinery prospect area. Soil sampling showed gold levels of up to 0.037 grams per tonne gold over an area of 1,500 meters by 300 meters. Elevated levels of copper and silver were also identified.

Exploration at Cutana is targeting gold and associated mineralization, seeking extensions of regional structures that are interpreted to control the mineralization at White Dam. The Pinery prospect has elevated gold levels in nine regional sample positions and remains open to the east.

Renaissance is planning infill geochemical sampling at 50 meter intervals at Pinery to fully define the extent of the anomaly. This could be followed up with first pass drilling.
