Smelting costs of spots copper to decline further - OZ Minerals
OZ Minerals Ltd said that the costs for smelting copper concentrates to metal will continue to decline, because the smelters in Asia cannot get the adequate raw material.
OZ Minerals said that the spot goods sales of the second quarter were lower than USD 25 per tonne and 2.5 US cents a pound. It said that the spot market pricing is expected to fall further, because of the shortage of supply of copper concentrates.
