PTI reported that Sterlite Copper has extended financial assistance to Ms M Raymond Julie an M Tech student at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.

Mr Ashok Varghese GM commercial of Sterlite Copper presented a cheque for INR 20,000 to Ms Julie at a function. The cheque was presented towards her tuition fees for third year studies.

The company would bear the tuition fee for the remaining years of her studies too.
