Tigray Resources Inc announced diamond drill results for four holes at the Terakimti copper and gold prospect on the Company's 70% -owned Harvest project in northern Ethiopia.
Highlights;
1. Continuity of near surface mineralization in the southern gossan area
2. Confirmation of distinctive gold rich and supergene copper mineralization.
Highlight Drill Results;
1. Hole TD014 - 40.5 meters of 3.24% copper, 1.19 gram per tonne gold, 25 gram per tonne silver and 1.19% zinc from 53.95 meters down hole including 23.05 meters of 5.17% copper, 1.59 gram per tonne gold, 39 gram per tonne silver and 2.01% zinc from 57.45 meters;
2. Hole TD016 - 17.75 meters of 1.61 gram per tonne gold, 2.98% copper and 20 gram per tonne silver from 80.40 meters.
Tigray has completed 12,100 meters of diamond drilling in 61 holes to an average depth of 200 meters. Current results include infill drilling near the previously reported highlight hole TD004, which returned 73.8 meters grading 3.8% copper, 1.3 gram per tonne gold and 14 gram per tonne silver. The 13,000 meter first phase drill program is expected to be complete by mid February.
Drill holes TD012, TD013, TD014 and TD016 were completed up and down dip of previously reported intercepts. The drilling has provided 25 meters to 70 meter step outs up and down dip from known mineralization. Specifically, TD014 was drilled 40 meters north of intersections in hole TD004 and illustrates continued robust development in thickness and grade of primary and supergene mineralization in the southern gossan area.
