According to Mr Dmitry Trifonov production director of VSMPO, VSMPO-Avisma Corproration produced 20.700 tons of titanium in 2010.

He said that the last year was quite successful for the majority of VSMPO divisions. Shop 4 for example performed an order for manufacture of new large-sized shovels for turbines of the New Voronezh and New Leningrad nuclear plants.

VSMPO plans to increase titanium production to 27.200 tons, let alone production of ingots, slabs and higher conversion products.
