12 bids for Muscat airport office buildings contract

MEED reported that Oman’s Export Credit Guarantee Agency has received bids from 12 groups to build office buildings at Airport Heights located at Bausher in Muscat.

The agency received bids from 12 contractors in October for the project, which will be located next to Muscat International airport.

The local Al Rawahi International Company submitted the lowest bid with a price of OMR 2.75 million. The local Nafal Contracting & Trading submitted the second lowest bid with a price of OMR 2.76 million. The third lowest bid of OMR 2.8 million was submitted by the local Al Hajiry Trading.

Oman’s Social Development Ministry also received bids in October for another construction contract at Airport Heights in Bausher. The ministry received bids from 13 companies for a contract to build the Vocational Association building.

The local Al Adrak Trading & Contracting Company submitted the lowest bid with a price of OMR 2.069 million. The local Nafal Contracting & Trading Company submitted the second lowest price of OMR 2.074 million. The local Hasan bin Juma bin Backer Trading & Contracting submitted the third lowest price of OMR 2.2 million.
