The sixth edition of Oman Oil and Gas.com, the first specialized oil and gas directory of its kind, in Oman was launched recently. Mr Mohamed al Harthy CEO of OPAL presented a personalized copy of the directory to mr Nasser bin Khamis al Jashmi, Under Secretary, Ministry of Oil and Gas.

Mr Mohamed al Harthy said that “Oman Oil and Gas.com provides comprehensive information about the oil and gas industry in Oman, we are therefore delighted to be associated with it. This directory has proven to be effective communication tool to introduce Omani based oil and gas companies in Oman and globally.”

In its endeavor to make the directory more user friendly, the directory is also available online. It also contains information about the petrochemical sector in not only Oman but also the other GCC countries like Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi and the UAE. While in the printed version we have included UAE data, making the directory more informative, we have also added a special feature Job Opportunities for candidates looking for a placement and companies looking out to recruit in the oil and gas sector.
Mr Milan Chatterjee GM of Potential Advertising & Publishing Company LLC said that “The endeavor to provide the Oman oil and gas industry with an accurate, concise and user friendly directory has become a successful reality through the proactive response of our clients. A great deal of diligence has gone into making this directory as accurate as possible, however opinions and suggestions shall always be priceless as it shall help us go a long way in keeping this publication as an authentic and reliable source of information for the oil and gas sector.”
