
Trade Arabia reported that Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation has appointed Mr Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri as the company’s new CEO effective from October 1st 2009.
The company said that Mr Al Dhaheri brings with him extensive management experience most recently holding the post of senior VP of Metals at ADBIC.
Mr Hussain Al Nowais Adbic chairman and vice chairman of General Holding Corporation said that “In his new role, Mr Jamal Al Dhaheri will help to drive some of the most valuable industrial investments in the region including Abu Dhabi Polymers Park, ADBIC’s metal industrial projects and Midal’s new aluminum plant.'
He said that “We wish Mr Jamal Al Dhaheri great success in his new role and are confident that he will have a positive impact on ADBIC’s contribution to the global industrial arena.”
