Arab Oil & Gas 2011, the premier biennial showcase for the region's oil, gas and petrochemical industry, has announced that over 250 exhibitors from more than 25 countries will be participating in the international trade event, driven by lucrative business prospects that have emerged in key Middle East markets.

With domestic oil consumption expected to increase by 27.5% between 2010 and 2020, the UAE will be a key target market for exhibitors of AOGS 2011, who are looking to cater to a significant rise in demand for oil and gas technology, equipment and professional expertise. By 2020 consumption has been predicted to reach 599,000 barrels per day, creating an urgent need to further expand and enhance existing oil and gas infrastructure in the UAE.

AOGS 2011 will run from September 18th to 20th 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Mr Anselm Godinho MD of International Conferences and Exhibitions, the organizers of AOGS said that "The Arab Oil & Gas 2011 has generated strong interest underlining the region's reputation as an ideal business and investment destination for the oil and gas sector.
