According to a statement released by the company to the Muscat Securities Market, Al Hassan Engineering Company has won OMR 14 million Petroleum Development Oman contract to develop phase III of the Zauliyah Gas Compression Project.

Mr Prashant Kutaula corporate communications manager of Al Hassan said that "We are very hopeful of securing more similar contracts. We are happy with this contract."

Awarded for a period of 26 months, the contract is the latest PDO contract to be awarded to Al Hassan which won USD 5.82 million contract by GS Engineering for the electronic and instrumentation works on PDO's Saih Nihayda Depletion Compression Project on September 28th 2011 last year.
