Al Khalij Enterprises, which has grown over the past 40 years with the development of the UAE, has announced ambitious plans to expand internationally beyond its existing interests.

The announcement was made by CMD Mr Prem Chandra Bhatia during the 40th anniversary celebrations of the group held in Dubai. The group’s business associates were honored on the occasion.

Mr Bhatia said that "Al Khalij has grown from a small trading company established in 1971 in Deira with a staff of two employees to a large group and has business interests in the Gulf, CIS and India and plans to spread its wings in many other countries internationally. This progress would not have been possible without the cooperation from our dedicated staff, customers and business partners."

One of the UAE's most respected business conglomerates, the company was founded by the late Mr Bhagwandas Bhatia and has accomplished remarkable achievements in its 40 year history.

As a firm that has been at the forefront of the development in the UAE, Al Khalij has made significant progress within the UAE and the Middle East over the past four decades. In keeping with the magnitude of the Group's achievements, its 40th anniversary celebrations coincided with the UAE's 40th National Day celebrations.

The celebrations honored the Al Khalij Group's business associates in appreciation of their longstanding relationship. Long serving employees were also felicitated on the occasion, which was attended, among others, by Hindi film actress Ms Celina Jaitley.
