
Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings, the regional leader in the design, construction and commissioning of commercial and industrial buildings in the Middle East has won a prestigious contract to build Dubai Bank’s branch in Jumeirah.
The AED 28.63 million turnkey contract involves the construction of the building spread across 6,600 square meters over four levels basement, ground, mezzanine and first levels. The total area of the land is 3,000 square meters. The building, a trademark design by NAGA, will be ready for handover with the necessary fit-out works by April-end 2009. Naga Architects are the project consultants.
Mr Mohammed Al Qarout GM of Amana Special Projects said that “The new Dubai Bank branch in Jumeirah is a landmark project. Once complete, the building will boast of the most modern, interactive equipment and security systems required for the bank. The time frame is very crucial and the project is being executed through perfect and stringent planning.”
He added that “We have the in-house design capabilities that are continuously fed with site experiences for tailored projects such as these. We have a lot of plans in place aimed at our involvement with projects in the commercial and other sectors, both within the UAE and across the Gulf.”
