Arabian Business quoted Mr Thomas Barry CEO of Arabtec Construction as saying that Arabtec Holding Co hasn't yet received information from OAO Gazprom on plans to cancel the construction of Europe's tallest skyscraper in St Petersburg.

Mr Barry was responding to a report in Itogi magazine which said that Gazprom cancelled plans to build the skyscraper after historic groups said the building would ruin the tsarist-era capital's skyline.
