Trade Arabia reported that Bahrain government initiatives in coordination with traders and importers of basic building materials are showing positive results.

This came as Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro met a group of traders and importers of building materials.

Dr Fakhro thanked them for their efforts in achieving stability in the challenging building materials market, pointing out the importance of keeping the cement prices at a reasonable level.

He called for supplying required quantities and meet market demands at the prevailing prices warning of adverse impact of any price rise. He also directed authorities to seek other sources offering reasonable prices warning companies against exploiting the market conditions.
