Trade Arabia reported that the Bahrain Petroleum Company has set a new record for monthly average capacity of 271,300 barrels per day.
The new record set last month is a major accomplishment compared to the refinery's average capacity of 262,000 barrels per day. The last record of 270,300 barrels per day was in May 2008.
Mr Gordon Smith deputy CEO of Bapco said that this new achievement is the result of Bapco's high performance in operations, regular controls and check ups and ongoing maintenance. This is in addition to the concerted efforts and professionalism of its workers and technicians in the units and the support teams, including utilities, storage and shipment.
Mr Smith expressed his satisfaction with this latest accomplishment, hailing Bapco's commitment towards achieving excellence in all its operations and bolstering its status among leading oil refineries worldwide.
