According to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, Iranian flat steel producer Chaharmahal Bakhtiari Auto Sheet Company produced 12,000 tonne of hot dip galvanized in the first 4 months of the current Iranian year.

CBASCO which was put into operation in early 2011 is the only Iranian steel mill capable of producing HDG for the automotive industry. CBASCO with its designed annual capacity of 400,000 tonnes of HDG was put into operation in early 2011.
