The construction of Chabahar-Zahedan-Mashhad railway extending from southeast to northeast of the country to the length of 1,350 kilometers, gets started with EUR 3 billion credit.

Iranian minister of roads and transportation said that the project has started after two years of planning.

Hamid Behbahani stated that EUR 60 million has been allocated to commence the project.

The ministry will make efforts to speed up the implementation of the project by attracting domestic and foreign investments.
