Dolphin Energy Limited announced the award of the engineering, procurement and construction contract for its upgrade project at its gas processing plant in Ras Laffan, Qatar to Larsen & Toubro of India. The value of the EPC contract is worth USD 250 million.

Larsen & Toubro's scope will include the detailed engineering, procurement and construction of all necessary works to facilitate the installation of three new Rolls Royce Trent gas turbine compressors, each rated at 52 MW and related facilities. The USD 136 million contract to award Rolls Royce was announced in April. Completion of the project is expected in the Q4 of 2014.
