GAC was a 3 time winner at the 3rd Annual Supply Chain & Transport Awards, receiving the coveted 'Outstanding Achievement of the Year, 3PL Provider of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility titles at the premier awards event for the Middle East logistics industry.

Organized by the prominent supply chain and transportation publications of ITP, the largest business and consumer magazine publisher in the Middle East, the Awards are given in recognition of industry leaders and newcomers that have made a significant contribution to the development of the region's supply chain sector by investing in technology, implementing winning strategies and investing in time and resources to ensure that the regional industry meets and exceeds international standards.

The winners in 17 categories, selected by an independent panel consisting of renowned industry figures, were presented with their prizes at a lavish ceremony held at Mina A'Salam in Dubai during first week of June.

GAC received the hotly contested Outstanding Achievement Award, as the judges felt that the company has undoubtedly become a name to reckon with in the supply chain industry, throughout the Middle East and worldwide. The company is also often cited as a case study for its successful operations. Two more awards followed, with GAC being recognized for its 3PL operations and its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Mr Dan Hjalmarsson GAC’s regional director for the Middle East said that it was a historic achievement as the company was recognized in three competitive categories. He attributes that success to GAC's continuing investment in and commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility programme and new business initiatives, despite the challenges of the economic downturn.

He added that "These accolades are testament to our contribution as an all-rounded industry leader. We wish thank both our customers and the judges of the Supply Chain and Transport Awards for this important recognition."
