
Arabian Business reported that a unit of Athens based GEK TERNA has won new projects in Qatar and Bahrain worth a total of EUR 138 million.
TERNA SA, a subsidiary of the Greek conglomerate said in a statement that it has added two projects to its portfolio for work being executed in the Gulf States. It was building a multi storey car park in Doha for Qatar Foundation in a deal worth EUR 114 million.
The two level underground car park with a total area of 100,000 square meters would have a Metro station built of top of it. The project is slated for completion in September 2013. The second Gulf project is EUR 24 million 10 storey car park with the capacity for 1,400 vehicles.
