Reuters reported that Oman's Galfar Engineering & Contracting made a Q3 net profit of OMR 1.25 million down 63.8% from the same period of 2008.

The company made a net profit of OMR 9.72 million in the first 9 months of 2009 without offering a breakdown of the quarterly data. It said that that compared to OMR 15.95 million in the period a year earlier. It made a net profit of OMR 3.45 million in the Q3 of 2008.
