Hamriyah Free Zone reinforces ties with Indonesia

A high level delegation from The Indonesia investment promotion center has recently visited Mr Rashid Al Leem DG of Hamriyah Free zone authority, Sharjah to strengthen bilateral business association and investment promotion.

The Indonesia investment promotion primary focus is to boost domestic and foreign direct investment through creating a conducive investment climate. The agency works as a proactive advocate for investments as well as a matchmaker for investors.

Whereas, Hamriyah Free Zone authority, Sharjah is one of the fastest growing and dynamic free zones in the world housing over 5,500 companies from 137 countries including the including international heavyweights such as Unger Steel, Larsen and Toubro, Standard Chartered, DHL and Essar steel and ADNOC. Hamriyah Free Zone has one of the most progressive and fast evolving landscapes for the SMEs & MBs to thrive.

Mr Al Leem said that "Hamriyah Free Zone is extremely proud of its positive contribution to the economic growth of Sharjah and the UAE. We estimate the total value of foreign direct investment in our Free Zone has touched USD 6 billion in 2010. Our performance is in line with the vision set for HFZ as a growth engine of the local economy."
