It is reported that Iranian steel producer Hormozgan Steel will complete the construction of its steel plant by March this year.

Mr Alireza Khayat project administrator said that "Construction of Hormozgan Steel will be completed by the end of the year and then we will start cold and hot commissioning respectively."

Hormozgan Steel mill has an annual capacity of 1.5 million of slab with its new steel plant. The producer's two DRI modules, each with an annual capacity of 800,000 tonnes have already been commissioned, in March and November 2009.
