According to IMIDRO's officials, Hormozgan steel which is the first slab making plant in Iran will be inaugurated in November 22nd 2010.

Mr Alireza Khayat MD of Hormozgan Steel said that 97.01% of this project was completed by the end of August. About 95.4% of this company's melting shop and 99.92% of infrastructural plan have been completed so far.

Mr Pelarak MD of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization in his visit to Hormozgan Steel said that building this plant in this region's harsh climate was a hard job and a great success.
