
Iran opens 2 million tonne iron ore plant
Tehran Times reported that Iran will inaugurate an iron ore concentrate plant with the production capacity of two million tons per annum in the city of Zarand, southeastern Kerman Province.
Some EUR 91 million plus IRR 1.15 trillion has been spent in the project. The private sector has established the plant within a period of 28 months.
Another iron ore concentrate plant is being built which will double the production capacity.
