
IRNA reported that Mr Mohsen Khojastehmehr deputy minister of oil for Planning as saying that Iran has entered into in talks for export of gas to Europe.
Mr Khojastehmehr said that Iran is the safest gas supplier in the long run. We are now busy holding in talks for gas exports and transfer of gas to Europe. Presently, Iran has signed final contracts with Turkey, Pakistan and Iraq for export of gas to those countries and operations have started for gas exports to Iraq.
He said that 80% of the project on gas injection into gas fields is complete. Last year, National Iranian Oil Company planned to inject about 130 million cubic meters per day gas into oil fields.
