Kardemir inks credit deal to finance new steel billet concaster

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir announced that it has signed an 11 year credit facility agreement with Turkish bank Turkiye Is Bankasi for financing of EUR 17,850,000 to be provided domestically for the new steel billet and bloom continuous caster project included in the investment program of the company. Repayments will not be made for the first 3 years of the agreement.
As per report, the total investment for the continuous caster project amounts to EUR 35 million.
