According to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, Iranian steelmaker Khouzestan Steel produced 1,963,000 tonnes of semi finished steel in the first 7 months of the current Iranian year representing an increase of 19% compared to the volume of 1,649,000 tonnes recorded in the same period of the previous Iranian year.

According to its development plan, Khouzestan Steel aims to increase its annual semi finished steel output capacity from the current 3.2 million tonnes to 5 million tonnes.
