It is reported that Kuwait's and South Korea's construction committees discussed means of boosting cooperation in mutual construction projects.

The 3rd committee's meeting was held in the South Korea capital of Seoul from December 19th 2011 to December 23rd 2011.

The Kuwaiti side reviewed a number of projects that the Kuwaiti government tends to set up in the coming years which would help transforming Kuwait to a financial and economic hub in the region. The South Koreans, meantime, expressed anticipation to co join in building these projects, which are part of Kuwait's developmental plan. They also hoped that they would benefit from the Kuwaiti expertise in water distillation.

The Kuwaiti delegation met with South Korean Minister of transportation and Maritime Affairs Mr Kwon Do youp. They also visited number of companies, hospitals and Yechon International Airport to get familiarized with the latest constructions methods adapted in the country.

The Kuwaiti delegation was headed by Undersecretary of Ministry of Public Works Mr Abdulaziz Al Kulaib and Kuwaiti ambassador to South Korea Mr Muteb Al Mutoteh.
