
MEED reported that Kuwait’s General Directorate of Civil Aviation has invited contractors to bid by October 18th 2009 for a deal to build aircraft hangars for cargo planes at Kuwait International airport.
The estimated value of the contract is KWD 40 million. The project is the latest to be tendered at the airport.
In early September, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation received bids from 6 firms for a contract to build administrative buildings and a fire station. In early August, contractors submitted prices for runway work, aircraft hangars and roads at Kuwait International Airport.
